Emma Waddingham

Our Panel Host is Emma Waddingham. She is the Editor & Founder of Legal News Wales and is a seasoned legal editor and journalist focused almost exclusively on the legal sector of England and Wales.

She founded legalnewswales.com - a unique media platform for the legal sector in Wales in March 2020 - to elevate and showcase the legal sector in Wales and to build resilience in the business of law. She has a passion for driving equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives that help support and reflect the communities served by lawyers and professional services.

Emma was dubbed the ‘glue that holds the legal sector in Wales together’ by the Counsel General of Wales and Minister for the Constitution, Mick Antoniw MS, in a speech given at the Legal Wales Conference 2023. Emma also has a long-established, award-winning portfolio of marketing and business development experience, having worked with a range of national and regional clients in the legal, property and financial advice sectors.

Chelsea Pinches-Burrowes is a multi-award-nominated entrepreneur, founder of WCS Agency and owner of Cardiff Life Magazine, Cardiff Life Awards & Talent Management Agency; Talent Cymru. Known for her bold ideas, creative leadership and sharp commercial instincts, she has built one of Wales’ most exciting marketing and media businesses all while raising a young family. A passionate advocate for women in business and a trusted voice in the Welsh creative economy, Chelsea brings energy, clarity and a deep understanding of brand storytelling to every project she touches. Whether she’s mentoring creatives, launching campaigns, or driving citywide initiatives, she leads with purpose and impact.

Natalie d'Ivry Business

Natalie d'Ivry leads the Business Development and Marketing team at Howells Solicitors, her career journey reflects the power of adaptability and purpose-driven change. From a Store Manager at Phones 4U, Natalie transitioned into the legal sector after the company fell into liquidation.

With a passion for people and strategic growth, Natalie made a bold pivot from practising law into business development and marketing. She’s known for her innovative thinking and client-first approach and after just 18 months in the role with no formal marketing experience Natalie led Howells to become a finalist for the ‘Marketing Initiative of the Year’ at the Legal News Wales Awards. Her story is one of transferable skills, continuous learning and a deep belief in the value of exceptional customer service.

Natalie’s journey is a testament to how embracing change and following your passions can unlock new opportunities whilst also demonstrating how legal professionals can thrive beyond their traditional path.

Ria Burrage-Male

Ria Burrage-Male is a former international athlete, experienced CEO, and the founder of KIBO a leadership and mindset business rooted in action, empowerment, and wellness.

With over 20 years of experience across sport, business, and coaching, I now help individuals, teams, and leaders grow through powerful mindset shifts, meaningful communication, and positive psychology. My work combines athlete mindset with human-centred leadership, supporting people to take ownership of their goals, lead with confidence, and live well.

From managing a world champion boxer to coaching ambitious individuals into and out of leadership roles. I create learning experiences, coaching journeys, and resources that inspire lasting change. I’m also the owner of Aberdare Feet, a podiatry practice serving community health since 1996 because I believe wellbeing starts from the ground up.

Whether I’m designing a habit change program, building a culture of performance, or sitting in the mud with someone until they’re ready to rise my mission is simple: Help people find their hope.
